JOB SUMMARY

As a Customer Service and Sales Specialist, you are GT Tools’ first point of customer contact and responsible for supporting all of GT Tools’ customers and distributors. You will also be involved with technical support, order entry, customer resolution, reporting, as well as additional daily tasks set forth by management. As a multi-functional role, you will also maintain and support existing accounts and develop new customer groups.

What you will do on the customer service team at GT Tools:

· Effectively Communicate with customers and prospective customers in a positive way for all inbound inquiries, resolving their questions and issues in a timely manner.

· Manage incoming sales/technical support issues with customers and distributors through all communication channels.

· Compose thoughtful, personalized responses to a variety of customer requests.

· Develop and manage a database of all customer service inquiries and resolutions.

· Take and Enter offline orders for Retail and Wholesale customers into our MRP/ERP software.

· Manage all sales channels for entry.

· Assist with Warranty and Service claim entry

· Manage GT Tools Online Training program

· Become an expert on all GT Tools products and their function/operations as well as the products our competitors provide across the globe.

· Develop new customers through processes developed in concert with management.

· Create an organized and efficient sales pipeline for existing and new customers.

· Communicate to management any sales/ customer service reporting metrics

· Support existing/new customers, distributors through onsite support and tradeshow travel as needed.

· Meet or exceed any sales or customer service initiatives set forth by management, always focusing on ways to improve processes, workflow and client interaction.

· Work with all team members in a positive way.

· Assist in clerical activities as needed throughout office

· Must always have a focus on producing and exceeding requirements in all work produced.

KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

· You care deeply, genuinely, and passionately about customer support, solving problems for customers, and about the role it plays in making a customer-centric team successful.

· You are skilled at explaining technical problems succinctly and clearly.

· You are a naturally empathetic and articulate communicator.

· You understand how mechanical & electrical tools work and are quick to learn new technologies.

· We use a host of technologies to support our customers and internal processes. You should have exceptional computer skills and are not afraid of technology, specifically Microsoft office products, Google docs, CRM, ERP, and MRP software and online customer service ticket systems (we utilize Gorgias, Klaviyo, [please apply online] Shopify, and a few other tools)

· Efficiently Multitask throughout the work day and stay organized without outside input.

· You have Automotive and or Auto Glass Industry knowledge & experience

· Our global customer base is always growing, so let us know if you’re a multilingual speaker fluent in any of the following languages: Spanish, German, French, Japanese, Korean, and Arabic

OTHER INFORMATION

· This Sales/Customer Service Account Specialist position is expected to be a good steward of Safety, Professionalism, Ethical and Moral behavior.

· Must be able to Travel when needed

· Must be able to work normally hours 40 hour work weeks May be required to work extended hours.

· Must be able to work in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
